If you’re into geeking out on tech and data, or already use Attio + n8n, this post is for you: Throughout building our BI platform over the past few months, we realised one key thing. BI tools like Metabase enable leadership-level storytelling, monthly reviews and deep dives, while AI-connected tools excel at quick, ad-hoc queries. We’ve processed over a million rows of data across multiple sources to create a single source of truth. Attio, Airbyte and Metabase have been game changers in centralising our information. To support this tech stack we built the first native-like Attio Node for n8n that I know of—thanks to Attio's published OpenAPI spec. It’s free and open source so you can use it yourself (link to download in comments). What it does: - Simplifies Attio API use in n8n: no manual HTTP requests or custom code. - Structures workflows so you can connect Attio through MCP tools and AI agents via simple prompts. - Plugs into any n8n automation for total flexibility. How we’re using it: - Launch real-time workflows: send WhatsApp alerts, update records, create tasks, draft emails. - Auto-create tasks and notes as we interact with leads and customers. - Automatically generate customer agreements from CRM data. - Streamline our automations, no more band-aid HTTP requests or the other crap you see on LinkedIn. Next up for us: - Build an AI interface in the InvestorKit app so the team can fire one-line prompts against CRM and BI data from anywhere (e.g. what buying markets a customer is interested in, what pain points they’ve mentioned to their strategist). - Govern CRM hygiene by identifying data gaps and ensuring records are complete. - Seamlessly sync JustCall interaction logs into our CRM to further elevate customer interactions. Our first launch, coming in the next few days to a weeks, is this dashboard. Over the following weeks we’ll add natural-language questions to enable better coaching and monthly KPI management (thanks to this newly launched node).
